Too weird. It should be opposite of what you stated and create an interference fit. We're gonna need some of the people on here tell you if they've run into that. All the Eagle cranks I've used were perfect for fit. Any galling in the balancer? (I know, dumb question) Hub on balancer not cracked or anything? Let's see what some feed back will bring up.
