Hey guys i was wondering what the best engine choice for me would be. I have a stock 63 Impala SS that I am hoping to restore / hot rod. It is probably going to never get to show quality without a ton of money so i think hot rod may be the way to go (and its more fun). It has the 327 in it I can rebuild, but we also have a SB400 i just started tearing down to rebuild. I have heard that the 400 can have overheating issues but can be corrected with minor cooling or head work? I would like a fun street machine. Im definately not looking for a dragster just a fun souped up street cruiser / tire peeler. Should I stick with the 327 or go for the torquier 400?
