Hey, I run a 65 - 327 / 300 hp stock motor in my 55 belair.
Itsa 2 bolt main and i got it runnin at about 419hp right now and I hammer on it , no problems yet.
I think the "old" motors can handle it. The new stuff is all recycled shitDrive like hell....................You'll get there
