What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

    Don't get all up-set.
Your where caught in deep BS we have all been there to some degree.
Just remember some of the guys have been building engines for 35 or more years.

A compilation of some of my favorite quotes from scooter...

"When did I ever say it made useable power at 12k. I said it can go that high, he shifts at 10k. When the hell did this peak power at 12k thing come from, ......"

Well lets see... let us dip into the archives (7 months ago)

"That would be great to see you get that done, your right nothing like windin a chevy out to 7 grand"

    "or 12k...... "

"Scooter please stop. Next you are going to tell me they go to 12,000 with a hyd. cam."

"No, but the 233 will go that high with it's 2 and 7/8th's inch stroke."

"if your motor had a 2 and 7/8th's inch stroke or the 2 and 5/8's inch stroke you would be hitting 12k to think about it." (and yes, that is exactly as originally written...nice!)

"Hasn't anyone payed attention! I said he <the man who owns the car> takes a 262 chevy sbc, puts a 2 and 7/8ths inch stroke callies crank into it and runs an old iron head nicknamed the turbo head."

You pal were the one kicking around the 12k number. And through all the posts of people doubting the "mystery engine's" making power at 12,000, you did not once mention that he was only able to functionally reach 10,000! There is a HUGE difference between 10,000 and 12,000.

...my friend, once you jump the shark of that size, slowly backtracking and declaring innocence like a politician that recently got caught in an airport bathroom stall looking for a little man love simply won't fly in this crowd!

    ...I smell blood fellas!!

Give it a rest already. Are you ALWAYS 100% accurate every time you speak "or type"? Or do you just like pointing out everybody else's flaws? I think Scooter had the right idea when he said he was done posting here. I little jab for a statement you disagree with is no big deal, I've done the same from time to time, but man, you'd think after a few months you could let it go. I thought it was a sorta' funny at first too, but it's getting old.

    Of course this is JMHO. It may be perfectly fine to run a thread into the ground again, & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again , & again

well, I think we've beaten this dead horse enough.
Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.
