283 fuel line size?
my 283 was a factory 4 barrel dual exhaust car. is the fuel line 5/16 or 3/8th"s thanks !!

Probably 5/16" if it's still the factory fuel line.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

probably is so was the 3/8 used only on the big blocks ?thanks..

Both will work, run whichever is easiest. Small block cars were generally 5/16ths, small block trucks were generally 3/8ths. Both were adequate.

thanks again i'm replacing the fuel pump with a holley or edlbrock with higher gpm and need to know what fuel inlet and outlet size to get without going to storage location and looking at my current setup...just lazy in the winter !
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
