Hehehe, it's all good with me, if you want to call a TA a Camaro, apology accepted, but most TA drivers would be all over you.Quote:

Some poeple never learn. But you are right, if you slow down and read your own post prior to "submit reply", it helps.Quote:

That engine is going to be installed . . . and worn out before this thread ends if this keeps up.
Does anyone live in Texas that can go over and help this guy???Quote:

Like has been said before ,many guys have beaten cars with more"quoted" hp than there engine really had, unless I see dyno numbers its just a guess.
The last 20 to 60 hp is found by tuning on the dyno and rarely just happens from assembled parts, most do not dyno tune the motor leaving the 510 hp at about 450-480 real untuned hp.Tuned meaning set for max hp,not idleing smooth and runs well.
Hmmm, I just drove to Reno and back, how much further is junior's place? Maybe he could get it running and then I'lll meet him half way...:LOL:Quote:

im all :whacked: right now.
happy new years everyone.
By spring, I guess. The seats come in later this week, I need to paint and install the grille shell and install the wiring. All the plumbing and running gear is complete. If it was wired, I could start it today, but I don't have a real great need to hear the engine run before the car is pretty much done.
I had a 4-day weekend last week, and have a 5-day weekend this week - and didn't do a dang thing to the car yet. I decided to take the holidays off. It makes me feel like a slacker, though. I'm going to work on the power windows tomorrow, and fix up another Gibbon goat-rope.
The photo shows how it sits today.
That Is Very Nice Ride . I Wouldnt Rush It Eiather Just Curious When The Finish Might Come. That There Beats My Mc Anytime In Looks Mine Isnt Quite As Nice Looking As Yours Yet...... But It Will Take Money And Time Which I Dont Have Eiather One Lol...
I have a 383 with a 6-71 blower on it.Quote:

Check the valve to piston clearance. Ask Skoggin Dickey which springs to use.
