Sounds like it needs more initial timing, you are running a bigger duration camshaft and a small bored motor, and the smaller the cubes the more radical the camshaft with feel. Try running a higher intitial advance, you didnt say what your initial was, try setting it at 16-18 degrees. Test and tune.....every hotrodders dream.
For total timing I would start at 36 and try it.
Keep advancing it until it "rattles".
If you hear it "rattle" back it off a degree at a time until it goes a way.
