The block will need a little messaging along the rails/the area where the oil pan mounts to the block. Because of the bigger swing of the crank, the rods rotate in a larger circle therefore the block has to be clearanced and the rod bolts will need a little help as well as they might come into contact of the cam. You will also need new pistons due to a larger stroke. The pins in the pistons move upward within the piston. You might be able to use the same flex plate and balancer, depending on what the machinist says. I like my rotating assemblies balanced internally(meaning within the block area), therefore the balancer and flex plate balance at neutral, no weights.

Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
