I've learned the hard way, you don't want high compression in a truck engine. Stay around 9.0 or less. A light car never has to pull long, the speed increases and the engine revs up. A truck will soon overheat the chambers and start detonation, forcing a downshift.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
