help asap
1991 chevy pick up 350 tbi .040 over with rv cam if i put 305 tbi heads on will it run good without messing with the computer

Dont think so, but what I do know is that the 350 wont reach it's full potential because the ports and valves in the 305 heads are to small."aerodynamics are for people who cant build engines"

do you mean adding a chip or something thats easy.. putting on the the 305 heads sure wont hurt anything..

i was told i could put 305 heads on and raise the compression i don't know if thats true or not

Its going to raise the compression ,question is how much and is that too much?Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
