The machinist knows he screwed up. I would go on just as if it never happened as you ain't getting charged for it. Nothing good will come from busting the guy's juevos over it.
BTW I thought it was fairly common to have a block line honed? It ain't expensive and it's the best way to make sure the bearings are lined up correctly. Who knows what they are nowe or where they really were from the factory?
