Valve cover breather on one side???
.....Hi Everyone, I know this was just discussed the other day but I'm still confussed! Can I have a breather one just one valve cover??? {mainly to add the oil}... Or is there a machanical advantage to having one on both sides??? Thanks Bill

....woops I forgot some info. It's a small block Chevy in a '32 Ford, no power brakes. Or should I use one anyway??? Do you need any more info??? What does a PVC valve do??? Thanks Bill

.....ok, by looking at your diagram Denny on one side I want an oil fill & on the other side a pvc valve. The tube from the PVC valve goes to the carburator??? Right??? Thanks, Bill

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
