Ihave a set of aluminum rods for a small journal crank. Can I have them resized to fit a large journal crank?

NO ! you will hit the rod bolts before you get it out to the large journal size, and then you will have to rebalance

if why not cut the crank for the small rod if you could size them bigger you would need to find i rod boring machine or a brigeport with aboring head and when all said and done it would be much cheaper to buy a new set of rods
