    Well ,I always tought that the piston was also bigger to match compression ratio you had before the bigger bore,but you will get more fuel in the chamber.There also was not a button for a "slight gain".I also think I can say that there is a increase in power ,but you will never feel it on the street.Also if you are using a engine for competition,then every little bit counts so a bigger bore eqauls more cubes.More cubes equal more "power".
