    Thanks for the input, guys.I think the pushrod issue may be my biggest concern here. Vacuum not an issue as I have manual brakes. Only thing on vacuum is advance and PCV. Will take a few days to sort out the rest of the details but you give me encouragement. Sorry, brain not working too well, also as i'm sure you know, mod. valve on tranny to vacuum, also. DUH!
