I,ve rebuilt a chevy 327. I put new lifters and cam in. The lifters are not ofcourse not built up with oil. My question is- How tight should I get the push rods before the frist crank up. How will I be able to tell the correct pressure. What I,m going is bump the motor around untill each piton is a tdc on compression. And tighten the nut downwhere there is no play. Is that a good way to do it. Or is there a better way? Thanks, John.
