87 350 Questions
i have a 87 350 out of a suburban.the first thing i noticed is it had a external oil cooler. the adapter under the filter i took off. the filtter area is not threaded for a filter.the adapter is bolted to the block with two bolts. i guess i put pipe plugs were the lines were? the inside of the housing looks like it has a check valve in it ,with a spring .is there any thing i should know about this? also theres a nipple coming out of the block were the oil filter goes,and thats were the oil pressure sender is,theres also another oneat the back of the block bhind the intake.wich one should i use?and one more guys...on the left side of the block ,dead center just above the oil pan is what looks like a giant oil sensor ,check valve looking thin,what is it?any body answer these questions?GLENN
