Water out exhaust???

I wouldn't consider myself hardcore, but hell. I just gotta know if its anti-freeze or not man. A little taste ain't gonna kill ya. LOL.

I'm just running cast iron perimeter bolt style heads on a Targetmaster Nickle-Iron block. But see heres the thing that REALLY boggles my a$$. Before, i replaced my lifters I could floor it and the car would get up and go but now.. after i reinstalled my intake and set the timing to about 10 btdc and adjusted my edelbrock performer 600cfm. Now my wheels chirp and she feels likes she's going to ... as billy (from the tv show, billy and mandy..) puts it..

that water is more than likely condensation... happens with all the vehicles i own...... if you're really unsure about it... you could use a block tester to see if theres any gases getting into your cooling system that dont belong...

I should probably just knock on my muffler to see if i hear water.. >_>

you better watch out Crowbie, somebody gonna have you committed, drinking water out of the tail pipe and laying under the car "knocking on my muffler" and someone ask you what are you doing and you say I'm trying to see if I can hear water in there, they might come and get you. :HMMM: :LOL: :LOL:

Long story: Combustion of hydrocarbons (like gasoline) creates many byproducts, but the two largest are CO2 and H20 - carbon dioxide and water vapor. The water vapor is a gas at combustion chamber temperatures, but when it hits cooler surfaces, it condenses into water. When your engine starts up, the exhaust system is cold, and you'll see water dripping out. After the system heats up, the water stays as vapor until it exits the tailpipe. When the system cools doen, the water vapor trapped inside your exhaust system will condense into water - more drips.

Looks good. One question. Did you put a little glob of high-temp silicone at the four corners of the intake gaskets - where the front and rear rail gaskets meet the intake gaskets?

h20 is a by-product of cumbustion (burning hydrocarbons). When gasoline combines with oxygen you are left with carbon dioxide and water. perfectly normal to see water coming out of a cold tail pipe. In winter the "smoke" you see from tailpipes is the same stuff as seeing your breath.

Deja Vu all over again . . .
