    cheapest way to 500+hp

     



    whats the best motor to build in this situation? or maybe some builds that you have done..

    496 big block Chevy with cast steel crank, hyper. pistons,781 heads fitted with 2.19,1.99 valves,a large hyd. cam with at least 240 at .050. on the intake side,rpm intake 850 cfm carb.Yes,I know it is a big block.

    build a little stronger than stock 350 and give her a 150 shot of nitrous
    just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

    As for the CHEAPEST I will agree with the 150+ NOS, but I know the BBC will live longer.

    There IS no cheap way to 500 HP. If you are going to do the work yourself, other than the machine work, you can get in the low to mid 4s with a 383 stroker for about $2,000 - $2,500.

    yes it is and it dont take much to get 500 hp out of one .a good ex would help a lot yes erik i am trying to stop to
