cheapest way to 500+hp
whats the best motor to build in this situation? or maybe some builds that you have done..

build a little stronger than stock 350 and give her a 150 shot of nitrousjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

As for the CHEAPEST I will agree with the 150+ NOS, but I know the BBC will live longer.Objects in the mirror are losing

There IS no cheap way to 500 HP. If you are going to do the work yourself, other than the machine work, you can get in the low to mid 4s with a 383 stroker for about $2,000 - $2,500.Ed in Jeffersonville, IN

guess I gatta get out the vizzard book again!!!Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
MSD 8360 distributor vacuum advance
