year of engine
trying to find out year of motor i have,have a smallblock chevy 350. here is the number i got off engine behind alternator 15K412217. i am having problems with finding right starter

If your still trying to find out. Try getting # on rear of block drivers side below dist. on bell housing. go under google.com type in chevy engine codes. That suffix code u got just doesnt sound right. There should be more letters in code. If u have to take off alter. and wire brush clean for better view. good luck!
