A good friend of mine had a bright yellow Pinto with a 351 Windsor in it.I am not really sure how fast it was but it really was great fun running away from the new Camaros and Mustangs.Quote:

Yup, if I should trip over a Pinto 2 door wagon someday, I sure would like to build just one more skinny block powered Pinto. The wagons are nice cuz you can take the side windows out, replace them with tin. Does a good job of hiding the tubs and roll bar!!!!!!!!
If you really have to have a SBC giant killer than try saving a little more green stuff and then head on over to Jon Barret Hot Rod Engines and get yourself one of these little buggers.

Best 10 grand you can spend. I would rather keep my money cause street racing just ain't my bag anymore.

I don't street race cause I don't drive a honda. Street racing is like kissing your sister, pointless and stupid (gross too), I am in the NPSA (Northwest Pro Street Assn.) in the 12.50 class, well, will start this year. The first race is March25th i think. My friend and I raced before this at the track on fridays during the open test 'n tune and plan on racing there again.
