Quench Revisited - For Techinsp
Hey Tech,
We've talked alot about quench before but I have a question for you.
If we set piston to head clearance at say .040", but then relieve/increase the piston (dish) and/or head chamber size to set suitable copression ratio, have we not then in effect decreased quench since we have lowered the piston dish top and/or possibly raised the combustion chamber roof?
