355909 appears to be a 1976-85 305 c.i. small block.
The early blocks have the dipstick on the drivers side. The newer models, from 1978 on, had the dipstick on the passengers side.
There is also a listing for a 355909 262 c.i. motor that was in the 1975 and 1976 Monza and Nova.Last edited by Hoptup32; 02-06-2006 at 06:25 PM.
