The rip and roar surrounding the 383 is the extra cubes it offers which returns in more torque and HP and is as easy and cheap to build as a 350 with the aftermarket the way it is.Originally posted by Ayers27
what is with all the love for 383s lately. But in that case, I'll just build up my 83 long wheelbase which I already have. Why buy a truck to rip it apart when I can rip apart a truck I already have.
Then again I do have a 350 block already bored .30 over.
My old man is against 383s for some reason, he is very odd about his motor choices.RAY

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
