glowing converter
ps have new exhaust system before engine swap, only 15-17 vacuum right now ?

converter
pulled converter run at 1500 rpm 19-20 vacuum ,converter looks okay ,but ocassional blue flame,might be flooding, last carb i got was doing that,rev ,s up fine n o bark or hesitation, won,t idle below 1500, starts to shake ?

that could be either, vac leak=lean or running rich, 17" of vac. at 1500 don't mean much, you gotta get it down around 8-900 rpm's. to get a reading.Mike
