I wouldn't get too carried away with the name. It doesn't mean anything special, just a marketing ploy to get your attention.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with any Lunati products, as a matter of fact, I have respect for the parent name. It's just that I have a little problem with some marketing efforts.
I've used Crane for years, others have used Isky or Comp or Crower or some other old, established name in the industry.
If you want to try a Voodoo cam, call and talk to one of the tech line guys at Lunati and have them recommend a cam grind for you. It's a free service. Have all your information ready (engine size, compression ratio, heads, valve sizes, intake manifold, carb, rocker ratio, headers or manifolds, torque converter, trans, final drive gear, tire size, intended purpose of the vehicle, fuel to be used, vacuum needed to operate brakes and other accessories, etc., etc.) The more info you feed them, the better choice they can make for you.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
