I think it goes under the same heading as degreing the cam, bal. the motor amd p & p the heads. i won 18 round track races, 1 point champ, won some drag races, and a lot of st. races, built all of my motors, and never heard the word "squeek" until i came here. having a perfect motor don't mean nothing without a little luck, and I rather have the luck.
I like the luck idea.We made the "show" worked our way up to 3rd place and we where trying to pass and the track had gone to "one" line on the bottom and it was all tacked up and we just could not get by the first two cars.Well the first two cars got tangled up out of turn 3 and we went right by.That was luck.
