by going to an efi I could save both in time and money, in the long run. an efi system can tune its self to the way I drive and my wife's without a loss of power or fuel mileage. where as a carb you have to do it manually. plus with efi no more cold early morning starts, I can use a remote starter kit with it.
Im going to contact edelbrock and ask about the E85 fuel in there efi system's.
the E85 would pay for the EFI in a few years or less in the dollars I will save in gas alone.
as of 2005 I averaged about $3200. for the year. I could save around $1000. this year if I were to go to the E85 fuel. maybe more, because with the higher gas prices I drove my truck less than I did in previous years.Destroy your enemy by making him your friend. - Abraham Lincoln
