To make a long story as short as possible,
the machine shop I used plugged the oil pressure port above the filter. I put a square 1/4" tool in there, but it does not want to back out. I don't want to round out the fitting and I don't want to pull the engine back out. I missed it while putting the engine back together, so a big lesson learned.

I need to find out if there is more then one port in a 350 chevy for a mechanical oil pressure gauge. It seems at this point, if there is not another port, that I may have to get a oil filter relocator, with a pressure port in the housing.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!!!
