Which heads should I use?
Hey, I have a 307 block bored over to a 350. I also have two sets of rebuilt heads. The first are casting #14014416 with 1.85 intake/1.5 exaust with 58cc chambers, and the others are casting #3782461 camel humps with the 1.94 intake and 1.5 exaust. Which heads would be better for this block? Thanks.

My 283 had the 461 cammel humps but were aged. Sat for 20 yrs. Still ran good. had some 305 truck heads prob same as you have (small valve) they had been worked and shaved they run better than the humps. On the 283, (7000rpm). My plan is to spend some money on the humps Port and work maybe and put on later.

How did you bore a 307 to 350?? The 307 has a 283 cylinder bore.I intend to live forever; so far, so good.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
