    307 timing.

    Hi again guys.
Can anyone tell me the correct timing for a mild 307.
Its an old one hooked to a powerglide.
Probably from an old GMH Monaro.69-70.
    Cheers
    Shane.

All engines are different but a good place to start is unhook the vaccum advance and set it @ 8 degrees. Actual tuning has to be done with time measurements and MPH. That will get you running decent with a mild motor though.

    Ta buddy,
as luck would have it and being a backyarder and all,
I have it set at 8 degrees B4 TDC.
It seems pretty good but I was just wondering if it was optimal.
u know,8 is good but 10 is better sorta thing.
    Cheers
    Shane.
