I am building a 383 stroker... I have the kit .... Its going in a 4 bolt man block .. Now here is the question ....

I have a set of 1.94/1.50 open chamber 75CC heads for it ....

Will they work ok?? Still produce good hp ?? Or should I try and find a set of closed chamber heads?? Does it make much of a difference ??

    thanx

Totally depends on what performance level you are looking for......but with the stroker....I'd opt for some good after market heads......yu'll get the benefit os years of engineering improvement and , I believe. more useable horsepower and efficiency.....jmo

    OK

I am building it for my Toyota 4x4 . .I have converted it to all chevy stuff .. and no only have a 305 out of a camero in it. So I am looking for the better torquey solution. ha ha

The kit is rated for 450Hp .. but I dont really need that much .. maybe somwhere bwt 350-400hp would be good .

    thanx
