questions about supercharging a 350 sb
I have a question about supercharging a 350 sb it has 10.1:1 cr. what would be a safe psi to run?

If I was building a blower motor, the compression would be in the low 8's. With 10:1, detonation is a big probelm. Why bother with a blower if you can't put some pullys on it that will build some boost ???Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

thanks for the reply i also have another question. I've looked at weiand blowers that cast around 2300 dollars but is there any additional cost/parts that u have to buy on top of that?

IF YOU BUY THE KIT FORM THE ONLY THING LEFT WOULD BE THE CARB. LINKAGE.ALSO CHECK OUT BDS BLOWERS THEY HAVE A 12 MONTH WARRANTY ON THEM AND SELL FOR $2,400.Originally posted by Lil_Phil

I agree with Eric, given the choice I would go with the BDS unit. Had one on a BB Ford and loved it!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

watch out to much boost make heat to 9 to1 and not run the blower so hard works very good
