Don't know much about the ECM in my 1994 Suburban.

Is it necessary to recalibrate if changing stroke, cam, heads, TBI? If so, does somebody burn chips for the modifications intended?

I'm planning a 383 stroker in a 1996 roller block with Vortec heads and dual plane TBI Intake, Comp 264HR Cam, the 670CFM Holley direct replacement TBI (claims 42%increased flow over stock), and Edlebrock shorty headers with EGR adapter & tube.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.
