Head gear for old 327
Hey guys just chasing some info if I could, I have a 327 in a 78 camaro, runs good and has large chamber heads fitted to it, the engine is a pre 68 because it has the old style bolt on oil filter, which ive changes to the spin on style, the heads are large chamber 76cc as well. Ive just aquired a set of heads and camshaft out of a smashed 350 engine, it had done 12000 mile when the flywheel let go and destroyed the gearbox and back of the engine. Now the heads are steel pro toplines 64cc chamber units 200cc runners with big valves, they also come with yella terra roller rockers and the camshaft is a comp cam 212-12-2 which has a duration of 280/280 and a lift of .480 and .480. now for any gurus out there can you see any problems I may encounter fitting this stuff to my current engine. Doing the work is not a problem Ive done it before as Im an aircraft mechanic and have all my tools, the problem is all the above info goes way way over my head and I need advice, anything will do,
Thanks in advance
Steve
