Exhaust fumes
Hi all. I have a 1968 Jeep Wagoneer with a Chevy 350 HEI, T400 Dana 20 T-case.(I think engine is from a 79 Camaro). It has a new problem I cant solve with my limited auto knowelege. I have had this rig 15 years and only this month I am getting exhaust fumes inside. I replaced a bad rotor and dist. cap. I put new AC Delco R45TLS plugs in. Still fumes, so I replaced the exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe O gaskets and heat riser gasket and tightened the exhaust manifold bolts. I still get exhaust fumes inside. I also closed a few small holes in the firewall to no avail. By the way, it has dual exhaust that terminate at 45 deg directly in front of rear wheels. I know this is NOT a race car, but thought your collective knowelege was quite impressive and hoped you might help.
Still DIZZY,
Brewery
Thanks!!!
