    Better 94 TBI?

    Hello,

I'm new to the forum seeking advice on rebuilding a 1994 5.7 TBI K1500 Suburban motor.

Would like more torque out of my work vehicle for pulling boat trailers up and down hilly lake area - and a little added zoom now and then for fun too!

What kind of ECM issues will I encounter if I was to stroke the rebuild to a 383, recam, and maybe add the Edlebrock Multi port EFI?

    Is this do-able?

    Recommendations?

    Thanks!

PS: Will likely build up a new short/long block before pulling out old motor so any recommendations on parts would be appreciated. Will also need to pass new emmisions laws in Texas.
