    Need Advice

I know this is a little different, but I need to put a chevy into my ford.
I found out earlier that all of my backfiring and lack of power was because of eight bad exhaust valves, and two pistons with basically no piston rings. (The air from the leakdown, went straight in and right back out). At my house I have a SBC in a 1966 Chevy truck just sitting around that just needs heads and a non leaking transmission. This engine would need to go into a 1985 mustang 5.0. Has anyone heard of this being done? If so please point me into the right direction as to where to look. Money is real tight so I am thinking that this would be more cost effective that building a whole new engine for the car (If I am going to build it, I do not want it stock) !!! Thanks alot in advance.
