    194 head questions

i already have a set and their off of a 350. but today i bought a set of bare 194's new in the box for 25 bucks. but my friend said their for a 305. then he told me to use the 305's with 350 valves. i plan on just swapping the valves and springs off the heads i have now. will i have any problems? and how do i get the valves and springs out anyways? i bought a spring compressor and compressed a spring and im still confused only 20 bucks poorer.

With the spring compressed, remove the little half-circle clips that will be exposed when the retainer moves down the valve, and the valve can then come out.

The little rings under the half moon clips are rubber stem seals, they must be replaced with new ones. Roll them down the stem just before you put the keepers back on.
