ok actually im putting the new gasket on my 4.3 in my truck but 4.3s and 350s are almost identical right (minus 2 cylinders duh) the gasket kit i got said i have to pull off the oil pan . Now ive messed with my oil pan a million times and im NOT pulling it off. my friend said its possible to put it on without dropping it. He said to use alot of permatex. where does it go and how much do i use?
