Trying to id. this engine
That's a bummer. But I wouldn't throw it out. If you've got the room, keep it in the corner of your shop. The 305 is not a bad motor, especially if someone is looking for a real basic engine for a daily driver. With a few nice aftermarket accessories and a bit of work, they're a great motor for a 17 year old guy (or gal) just getting started. Regards..
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
