I guess if you want it loud, you could due away compleatly with a muffler and have it run right by getting a 3" pipe, fairly short like 18" then get a 2" pipe of the same length, and I would recomend a max of 2 1/2" exzaust system. You will need 2 2 1/2" to 2" converters or 2 1/4" to 2" converters then with your 3" pipe, get your 2" pipe, drill enough 1/4" holes in the 2" pipe that you think it is going to do somthing, 120 or so would do it, evenly spaced and marked so both mufflers turn out right. Take your drilled 2" then run it inside the 3" pipe, and slide on the 2" end to the 2" pipe on each end, you may need to reduce the 3" pipe to 2 1/2 to make it work so you can weld everything up, but in the end, you have a nice set of loud resonators that should provide enough backpreassure to follow what Tech said. and for what, a few houres time and probably 15 bucks in supplys. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
