    cam change

I have been watching Horsepower TV forever now, and there is one thing that I would like to ask. When they change a cam, they always trim the timing chain cover. I understand that this makes it easier (I.E.- not dropping the oil pan in the future), but where do I trim? Any help would be appreciated!
