    Question Carb recommendations

OK all you carb experts! What carb would you recommend for my '58 Chevy pickup?

Here's what I've got: A stocker 350 motor from a '72 Nova. TH350 auto trans, performer intake, stock cam, stock ignition (I may be switching to pertronix conversion). I'm just looking for something with good dependable cruisin' and good streetability.

I'm also considering buying a basic stocker GM factory crate motor. It would have the same setup as above.

One more thing...I'm on a budget. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
    Mike
