350/330 vortec manifold
Hey Guys - Thanks for the info up front - Putting a 350/330 crate in a 46 ford/700r4/etc. feel like I want to go simple with a single 4 barrel - what manifold and carb can you suggest? and Ignition? this is going to be a cruiser. Many thanks again! Charlyg

I just bought an Edelbrock Performer Vortec manifold #2116 for my engine. I wont have the engine put together for another 3 weeks so I can't tell you how it runs yet. That same manifold is also best suited for your application, unless you plan to put a different cam in.

Edelbrock 2601 Air Gap manifold for non-Vortec heads. Use 2116 like 76GMC1500 said for Vortec heads.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
