    OK, IM GOING TO GO AHEAD AND ASK THIS. I HAVE AN 85' SWB CHEVY TRUCK BESIDES TAKING MY DIFF COVER OFF AND COUNTING RING AND PIN DIVIDING AND THAT GOOD STUFF. I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU EXPERTS CAN GUESS RATIO @55 MPH MY TRUCK TURNS 2000 RPMS 60MPH AROUND 2250 ETC... STOCK 305 TH350....

    FUTURE NOTES TO LAUGH ON I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK FOR 1200 DOLLARS STRAIGHT BODY NEEDS INT WORK BUT THE LAUGH CONVERTER SEAL LEAKS REAR SEAL LEAKS AND I HAVE AN OIL LEAK IN THE FRONT I CAN FIND BUT ITS NOT THE FRONT SEAL...ENGINE DOESNT BURN ANY OIL.. GUESS IT DOESNT HAVE TIME.

    ALSO ANYONE KNOW OF A SOURCE FOR A STEP BY STEP BREAK DOWN AND BUILD GUIDE FOR SBC I CANT SEEM TO FIND ANY ANYHERE

    Hi, well counting the ring and pinion teeth is about the only real way to know for certain, you left out some important info, how tall are your tires, if you have a normal set of tires im thinking MAYBE somewhere in the 3.70 range maybe, its hard to tell though you know? the only real way would be to pull the cover and count the teeth, sometimes it says on the ring gear what ratio it is.

    TIRES ARE 265/70/15

    ALSO FOR AFTERMARKET PARTS MAINLY A STERRING GEAR BOX THAT DOES NOT LEAK FOR THIS TRUCK POWER STEEING.. I KNOW I CAN FIND ONE FOR CHEAPER THAN 250 IF ANYONE KNOWS BETTER LET ME KNOW
