    Question from 1982 305 to a 1996 350

     



    IM GLAD I FOUND YOU GUYS!
    MY SON AND I JUST STARTING TO REBUILD MY VERY FIRST CAR.AN 82 Z28 THAT IVE HAD FOR 23 YEARS!(BEEN SITTIN FOR THE LAST 10 AND ITS' GOING TO BE HIS) AND TRADED FOR A 1996 CAMARO 350.WHAT DO I NEED BESIDES THE HARNESS, COMPUTER, AND FUEL PUMP? THANKS IN ADVANCE AL.

    i guess its the LT1 350. you'll need everything you can get off of the 96. very little will interchange from the 305. . if you gonna use the LT1 manifolds you need to get the y-pipe.

    The 350 is complete belts to fly. I was told the I would need a high volume fuel pump if im going to use the
    LT1's injection system?

    thats true. any of the high pressure pumps used with the GM, MPFI will work. the TB has about 15 lb. and the MP has about 50 lbs. the pumps look alike and you should be able to mount it in place of the TB pump. the big dif is cost.
