I recently thought my engine had a vacuum leak, but I replaced everything to do with the vacuum, hoses gaskets etc.
After that my engine was still barely idleing, so I took my carburator off and stripped it all the way down and had everything cleaned, when I re-installed the carb and got all the lines connected I fired the engine up and it still was barely idleing, after I killed it to try something else I noticed a quiet air sound, it was either sucking or blowing air, but while I was trying to find the air I squeezed my gas line and when I let go it sounds like it was sucking the gas out of the carb or just sucking air or something.
After that I fired it up again and it ran fine for a few minutes and then went back to barely idling.
My question is, could it be flooding out, or could I have a loose gas line somewhere causing the bad idle, should I try adjusting my floats, if so how?
