    Better Intake

I have a 10.37 to 1 compression 350 with a Comp Cams 270H camshaft and a 600cfm Edelbrock carburator and I was wondering, what would be the best intake to run with my combo?

right now the Edlebrock rpm air gap make more torque and horsepower on every combo i've seen upto and including 5,500 rpm.... unless the engine is going to spend every running minute above 5,500 it's kinda looks like the air gap...

Actually, I believe the rpm air gap is rated from 1,500 to 6,500 and the standard air gap is rated idle to 5,500. I could be wrong though. Check the characteristics at the Edelbrock site.

    Tech your right....

But what I was saying was the single plain starts to shine and out perfom the dual plain around 5,500....the dual is still making power it's just above 5500 the single makes more....

Personally I think if you used a dual plain and tinkered with a 1/2 inch to 1 inch open spacer you may do better yet.....Course I swear by a 1 inch spacer on everything!

.i know the rpm is for 1500-6500 and performer is idle -5500.Would a performer rpm be better than a performer in an engine with 5500 rpm? im going to get a cam thats good from 1800-5800.so im thinking below 1500 it would blog down but im useuly drive above 1500 anyways.any input would help

I would opt for the Rpm.... or a little more an get the Air-gap Rpm

I have both the performer and the rpm and you can notice a little difference between the 2....

Edelbrock really does a nice job of making a good thing better....

Hot set-up right now is the E-tec heads and air-gap intakes....
