    327 to 383?

I purchased a 1968 camaro with a 327. I am going to completely rebuild the engine, so i thought in the process i wpuld like to make into a stroker. But since its a 327 i was wondering if making it a 383 would be to ambitious. If not could anyone lend me tips and advice? Thanks in advance

You can stroke the 327 to 383 as easily as you could from 350 to 383, since your block is the same bore as a 350. Here's a link to some discussions:

383's make alot of usable torque and if built rite and hot they scream, I have a 383 with 13.01com. dart pro one heads, full roller setup, it's in a 80 camaro drag -setup good with 12 inch slicks, and it is a hand full to try to keep in a strait line through third gear!!
